High Malsis Farmhouse
Attached to the owner's home on a small working Dairy farm this spacious, non smoking property was built in the early 1800's. The farmhouse has been decorated, furnished and equipped with care to a high standard and is carefully maintained by the owner.
The ground floor has a spacious and comfortable sitting room with a 50’s style fire surround and electric fire, TV, Video and DVD player . The dining room with open fire in original York range, pine furniture and exposed beams. Fully fitted kitchen with gas cooker, auto washer, microwave, fridge and a toaster.
The first floor has three bedrooms, one double with original cast iron fireplace feature and views looking towards the Aire valley. One twin bedded room with cast iron fireplace feature with a view overlooking the farm. The single bedroom also has a good view of the Aire valley, all are light and spacious. Bathroom with 3 piece suite and electric shower over bath.
High Malsis Farmhouse is double glazed and has gas central heating and instant hot water. Fuel for the open fire is provided during your stay. Bed linen and duvets are also provided. There are two smoke alarms in the property. A cot, high chair and stair gate are for the youngest member of the family, if they are required. Folding garden chairs are for use on the patio at the front of the farmhouse. Ample parking at the side of the farmhouse.
The basics have not been forgotten - such things as washing up liquid, bin liners, loo roll, kitchen roll and basic cleaning materials are also provided. Previous guests have appreciated the attention to detail. On arrival,we are always here to greet guests and a welcome tray (tea, coffee & biscuits) is set for refreshments.
Glusburn is 1/2 a mile away and Crosshills 3/4 mile with local shops for day to day shopping, and the local hostelry is just a short stroll away.
