Orchard Cottage

Attached to the owner's home on a small working Beef & Sheep farm, this out building has been converted into a non smoking property. The cottage has been decorated, furnished and equipped with care to a high standard and is carefully maintained by the owner.

On entering the property at Kitchen level,it has a fully fitted kitchen with gas hob/electric oven, fridge/freezer, washer, dishwasher & microwave, with a dining area for guests.

Level one is the lounge and study both with garden views. There is a patio area leading from the lounge through glass doors. On the patio is a table with chairs ready for you to sit,relax and enjoy the garden.

The double bedroom is a flight of five steps out of level one. This room is both light and airy, with an additional TV. With views over the farmyard.

The bathroom has been created in the eaves of the property, with a 3 piece bathroom suite with power shower over the bath. There is a character feature in the bathroom of a low beam supporting the roof.

Orchard Cottage is double-glazed and has gas central heating and instant hot water. Bed linen and duvets are also provided. There are two smoke alarms in the property. There is ample parking for guests.

The basics have not been forgotten - such things as washing up liquid, bin liners, loo roll, kitchen roll and basic cleaning materials are also provided. Previous guests have appreciated the attention to detail.

On arrival we are always here to greet guests and a welcome tray (tea, coffee, milk & biscuits) is set for refreshments.

Glusburn is 1/2 a mile away and Cross Hills 3/4 mile with local shops for day-to-day shopping, and the local pub the Dog & Gun is just a short stroll away.
