High Malsis is in the parish of Sutton-in Craven but by road is nearer to Glusburn and Cross hills, all are about five miles from Skipton in North Yorkshire. Cross hills is a busy village with many shops including a new Co-operative store, Post Office, Banks, Bakery, Newsagent, Greetings card & gifts shop, etc.
Skipton is a bustling market town with its own castle once the home of the Clifford family. Market days are Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with open stalls down each side of the main street.
Haworth is only a few miles away with the Bronte connection and the Worth Valley Steam Railway.
As we are just on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales there are lots of places to visit either by car or by walking.
High Malsis is within easy driving of the historical city of York, Harrogate, Ripon, Fountains Abbey, Pateley Bridge to name a few. The farmhouse has lots of leaflets for you to browse through at your leisure for places to visit.
